'I still have to have another operation on my left knee - hopefully in about eight weeks - depending on the wonderful NHS waiting list! In term of re-hab, this will be about a 10 month process, but will hopeful be back training after about 6 months ... so .. realistically I won't be available for selection until about February 2002!
I will off course do my best to keep in touch and be part of the social fabric of the Rovers!'
