To look at, not the most likeliest of lads you'd associate with a footballing background. But once they don the shirts of Wellhouse, an amazing transformation occurs.
Formed in 1993, Wellhouse FC play in the Heavy Woollen Gate Sunday Alliance Football League. The team itself has played under various names over the years. Starting at the bottom of seven Divisions we now play on the Second Division. Honours include, Div VI Runners Up, Div IV Winners, Gate Cup Finalists, Mirfield Charity Cup Plate Winners. Based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire we play home matches at Sands Lane in Dewsbury. Our name being derived from Wellhouse area of Mirfield.
