UPDATE No.7

Presentation Night Tickets: Are now on sale: see your manager at training or at your match. This is our first as our new club so let's make it agood one (we ALL deserve it after the hard work we have all put in this season)

Summer Tournaments: Details have been given out. Pleas see Christine if you didn't receive them. Could you return the slip indicating which tournaments you can take part in as soon as possible.The Ladies have a tournament 0n 27th April organised by the Eastern Region Good luck to them

Questionnaires: Next seasons teams and what leagues they will enter, has to be decided so please fill out and return the questionnaires as soon as possible.

Training: Will from the 23rd May be at Motts Field on grass same time as normal.if you'er not sure of where this is just ask

To Angie Topper who has passed her JTM with flying colours. this was funded by the club with money from our grant by Awards For All.

CUP FINALS:

This year we have 2 teams in Cup-Finals the U11s on 2 MAY K/O 6-15 at the Cambridge City FC ground and the Ladies playing in the Lisa Slater Memorial Shield  on the 12th May also at Cambridge City FC ground K/O at 11:00 am. As a club we ask all players, committee members and parents to attend these games if at all possible to offer their support and encouragement. Many thanks

UPDATE No 5. TRAINING: Next training session will be Thursday 03-JAN-02 U11s 6-7pm u13s 6-30-8pm. For any player over 14 to integrate U16s and Ladies 6-30-9pm Referees Course: Next course will commence 10th Jan 02 anyone over 14 who is intrested see Karen Smith for details this is also open to parents and helpers of the club. Junior Team Managers Course: There will be a new course starting early in the new year, please see Christine harris for details. Butlins: There are still a few places left May 03rd-06th.Price £69 plus £10 player registration. If you have any footballing friends that are interested please inform your manager. Teams will be U12 U14 U16. Presentation Night: This season it will be on 22nd June 2002 Tickets will be £5 to admit up to 6. Fund raising ideas for the night will be greatfully recieved. Club Jackets: The club are looking at providing each member with a showerproof training jacket. at greatly reduced cost. anyone else interested please see Christine Harris. Team selection: If you know that you will not be available for certain matches please inform your manager at least 1 week ahead thank you, if you don't have a fixture list see your manager or Christine Harris or Karen Smith who will gladly give you one. And Finally Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year From Everyone at the Club. UPDATE No 4. Our application to Awards For All has finally been approved. We are woking towards being a Charter Standard Club with the help of Will Cook from Suffolk F.A. and this should happen late December early January. Club Handbook. This is being carried out by Angie Topper. Haverhill Town Council has approved a grant for 1 full kit this will be for the U16s and should come soon girls. Andy Swallowe is going to get the club badge printed for us. With the Awards for All grant we have been able to sent 4 players on the Referee's course if anyone else would like to go on one please let us know. Finally: Parents when dropping your childern off either at training or matches, please could you wait until the manager or coach arrives and leave children alone and unsupervised. as a club we are not covered on our insurance for this. thank you. NEWS LETTER No. 6 Charter Standard Mark We are in the final stages of this applicaction. Notice Board Ashley and Karen have made a club notice board which will be hang on the gates of the astro-turf pitch on training days, if you want anything included please see Ashley or Karen. Club Badges Andy Swallowe has very kindly managed to have club badges made for us. please could you sew them on your shorts on the opposite leg to the numbers so we all look the same.
