From the left Chris Blythe (WOR),Sid Sheldrick (BFD)-note the White boots,full faced "Space Helmet" and Red/White Leathers-a real revolution back then!,Malcom MacKay-top line Div ll Aussie destained for the Dukes at Halifax and debutant Dave Baugh-signed to fill the gap left by Gary Peterson.
Bradford led the meeting 34-26 as the rain washed out proceedings both Sheldrick & Baugh led the scorecard with 8 apiece. Northern took the second leg at Derwent Park 44-34 to win the Trophy on a 78-60 Aggregate. Wow the nostalgia !
