Abbey National Volleyball Club Home PageWelcome to the web site for ANVC! It has all the usual stuff such as team fixtures, player profiles, useful links and all that gubbins. It is updated regularly so check it out on a regular basis.Based in Milton Keynes, ANVC is a small, friendly club run chiefly for the staff of Abbey and their families and friends. In 2002/3 the club will enter teams in the Northamptonshire VA Mens, Ladies and Mixed Leagues. We take it seriously of course but we hate teams who don't smile and argue with referees! And we're not adverse to a bit of social activity! See the Social page on the left hand side. Like most volleyball teams Abbey have two seasons; the Indoor Season involves weekly training and matches at Woughton Leisure Centre. The Outdoor Season sees two teams competing in the Milton Keynes Outdoor Volleyball League and the boys and girls on the road at various tournaments (our favourites are Cambridge, Weston and Walton).
