This flag is a tribute to all those who lost there lives in the terrible Terrorist attack in America on Tuesday 11th september 2001. All the commitee members and players of Talisman F.C give there deepest condolences to anyone who has lost famiy or friends in this terrible attrosoty. As a mark of respect all the Talisman players involved in the game between Talisman and Northwood Hollybush on 16 september 2001 wore black armbands.

TALISMAN FOOTBALL CLUB HAVE CURRENTLY JOINED THE HANLEY & DISTRICT LEAGUE ( SPONSORED BY A & K CARPETS) FOR 2001 - 02 SEASON. AFTER A POSSITIVE FINISH TO THE END OF THE 2000 - 01 SEASON IN THE CITY TRADERS LEAGUE, WE HAVE DECIDED TO RESIGN FROM THE CITY TRADERS LEAGUE AFTER 3 HARDFORT SEASONS, TO PERSUE FOOTBALL OF A HIGHER STANDARD.AT THIS POINT WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CITY TRADERS LEAGUE, AND WISH ALL THE COMMITEE MEMBERS AND FOOTBALL TEAMS ALL THE BEST FOR THE 2001-02 SEASON AND FOR THE FUTURE.
TALISMAN HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO DIVISON 1 OF THE HANLEY & DISTRICT LEAGUE AND WILL BEGIN THEIR PUSH FOR PROMOTION TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE IN THEIR FIRST SEASON, ON THE 2nd SEPTEMBER 2001 .
