The Wetherspoons hit 12 goals against The Three Pigeons to keep their excellent goal scoring record going. Yet again Clifford Ryan finding the back of the net with a superb FIVE goals!, While his partner up front Matt Rackham also chipped in with 4 goals.

Sunday 21st Oct 2001 -- Spoons lose 3-7

The weather was awful but the football was delightful, well if your a Magpie Res fan. The Spoons crashed at Home for the second time this season going down 3-7. The first half saw Magpies take a 0-4 lead, only for it to be cut back at half time to 2-4. A player called Marcus for the Pies was brilliant, everything came through this guy on the left, we just couldn't handle him. They also had a Gavin up front who held the ball so well. Faced with that we had problems.

Wetherspoons to sign Chiltern players

The Spoons are shortly set to sign five or six players from Chiltern in Division One due to their team folding from the league. All new players will have to have the usual ritual of drinking ten pints of stella while standing on their head and touching the dangley bits of a donkey on heat
