Tracey Saultes Brucey: "He's Hawkes' Roy Keane"

Totti  Tuesday, May 14, 2002  11:09 GMT

Chesneys Hawkes manager James Tracey has paid John Bruce the ultimate honour and said "He's our Roy Keane."
Tracey revealed his delight at Bruces' perfomances in the last 2 wins and went on to compare him to legendary Manchester United captain Roy Keane. "He has been awesome, a real leader. He works hard, spurs others on, is fantastic going either way, and has helped make us a hard working, disciplined side. He is like a Roy Keane in our team, totally indispensable."
Bruce has been magnificent in his two outings, and has forced captain John Rhodes to eat his words, "I was quoted early in the
year as saying I thought John wasn't the greatest 5-a-side player and
wouldn't be a asset to the team, how wrong!!! Lucky for us the gaffer called
him up and he certainly produced."
Tracey will be hopefull Bruce continues to inspire his team to glory this season, with the Championship a realitic possibility.
