Tense Weekend Ahead For 1st Team

George Luke  Monday, April 30, 2001  21:47 GMT

This weekend is crucial for Hurst as the bid to avoid finishing in the relegation positions.

At least last Saturday reduced the opposition to just Newhaven because R & Sun Alliance's loss at Franklands Village means they cannot catch Hurst's points total.

Hurst's match on Saturday is a derby against St. Francis who will probably field a number of former Hurst players. The match is at St. Francis' home ground in the grounds of The Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath and has an early kick off at 11.30 am.

Then on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May Hurst Finish their season at Ansty.

Good Luck to all Hurst's players and heres hoping for at least one win from the two games

Meanwhile Newhaven also have two away games to finish the season. On Saturday they are at Haywards Heath and Monday they have their own local derby at Seaford.
