Council Move The Goalposts!!!

Mid Sussex District Council Remove The Goalposts and ended the reserve team's season.

A week earlier than scheduled the local Council removed the goalposts from the Fairfield Recreation Ground football pitch and as they had done the same thing on all council owned pitches throughout the district, it effectively brought the end of the season for Hurst Resereves because no pitches were available for their last two games.

The emergency competition brought in by the Mid Sussex Football League has now also had to give up on any promotion or relegation for this season because of continued pitch problems for various teams throughout the leagues.
