How we can take points off of the top clubs and then lose to a team who are at the lower end of the table is beyond me. Not for the first time this season we were let down at the last minute by five of our regular players two of whom are our key midfielders. With no substitues and playing on a heavy pitch most of the girls were shattered and we never looked strong enough to add to our first goal. Cottenham did'nt beat us we beat ourselves with a poor work rate,no passing,lack of ball control and not having the will to win. Well done Cottenham for making the most of their goal scoring opportunities and deserving this win.I would also like to congratulate the ref who in our opinion put in the best performance we have seen this season. |
