THE Premier Trophy semi-final second leg between Trelawny and Reading, due to have taken place at the Clay Country Moto Parc on Tuesday evening, has been rained off.
Heavy rain began falling at 11 am and, with further rain forecast throughout the afternoon, there was no prospect of the track recovering sufficiently for the meeting to go ahead.
The Trelawny management had no alternative but to make the early decision to call off the meeting at around 11.15 am.
No new date has been arranged and the JAG Tigers now face an increasing backlog of fixtures as this is the fourth rain-off at the Moto Parc so far this season.
