Match Report: Trelawny 51 Exeter 39

Graham Hambly  Wednesday, March 27, 2002  11:44 GMT

TRELAWNY completed the double over Devon rivals Exeter with a 51-39 victory in speedway's Premier Trophy at the Clay Country Moto Parc on Tuesday evening.
It was an impressive start to the home programme for the JAG Tigers who were always on top after taking the lead in the second heat.
They provided 10 of the 15 heat winners with Chris Harris and Richard Wolff leading the way.
Harris cruised to a 15-point maximum, winning all his five races while reserve Wolff was not far behind. The Czech Republic rider included three wins in his 13-point return to earn the Rider of the Night award.
New signing Emiliano Sanchez had an expensive evening, suffering two blown engines in his last two races after a promising start.
