OZ to return in SummerAdam Bell Wednesday, May 30, 2001 14:26 GMT

Australian star Dino Mennillo is not yet a Bradford City player but will link up with the squad again for pre-season training.
The Wollongong Wolves winger has had a recent trial with the club and impressed Jim Jefferies sufficiently to earn a second spell with the Bantams in early July.
The City boss claims if Mennillo impresses as much as he did a few weeks ago then a permanent deal could be on the cards.
Jefferies said: "We had Dino over for a couple of weeks on trial and he impressed us in that trial.
"He has gone back to Australia, I've talked to his agent about the possibility of signing him.
"He won't be a fortune and he will come on wages which in present day terms are very little.
"He'll be a good squad player so what we've done is invite him back again for pre-season training and if he shows what he has been doing in games then we are hopeful of securing a deal."
As well as his interest in Mennillo, Jefferies also stated he was still in the market for another wide player.
He added: "We need a wide player, a new Peter Beagrie. We are actively looking and we have someone in mind who is currently abroad and we will work hard to bring him in."
The City boss also confirmed he had been close to signing Joris Van Hout, before he joined Anderlecht.
However, Van Hout has joined the Belgian outfit as a squad player and Jefferies may look at his situation again later in the season.
