Chelsea's reported interest in Beni Carbone could end later today with Gianfranco Zola set to announce at a 3pm press conference he is staying. Zola is likely to commit himself to the Chelsea cause for at least another season, amid speculation he was on his way out of Stamford Bridge. Carbone was seen as the ideal replacement for Zola, with Claudio Ranieri thought to be prepared to match The City striker's wages. But it now seems as though Carbone will remain at Valley Parade for the time being at least if Zola rejects the chance to move back to Italy. Picture: Beni Chelsea switch unlikely
