Former Bantams in First Division dogfight
Former City stars Lee Mills and David Hopkin face the prospect of playing in Division Two with both players involved in a relegation battle.
Mills was on target for Portsmouth last night but Graham Rix's side were beaten 4-2 by Hopkin's club Crystal Palace, although the former Bantams midfielder did not feature in the game.
Pompey now fill the final relegation place with just one game left, with Palace just one place above them on goal difference.
Should Portsmouth be relegated, Darren Moore will also find himself a Second Division player, once he recovers from injury.
Meanwhile, keeper Matt Clarke will have to be content with a place in the First Division play-offs after Blackburn pipped Bolton to the second automatic promotion place following victory over Preston last night.
