Reserves lose ten-goal thriller
City's reserves were involved in a ten-goal thriller at Sheffield Wednesday last night but ended up on the wrong end of the scoreline losing 6-4.
The Owls raced into a two-goal lead courtesy of Tony Crane and an own goal from Robert Morgan.
But Morgan soon found himself on the scoresheet at the right end as The Bantams came back from two down to take a 3-2 lead.
Billy McKinlay leveled the match before Dean Saunders had City in front.
However, it was Wednesday who led at half-time. A second goal from Crane and a strike from Dene Cropper completed a see-saw forty five minutes.
Cropper grabbed his second at the start of the second half, but Saunders found the net again to make it 5-4.
City failed to make another dramatic comeback as Owen Morrison completed the scoring, sealing the points for Wednesday.
The second string now have two matches remaining at Everton on Tuesday and at home to Leeds a week on Wednesday.
