Reds duo to return
Liverpool could recall Steven Gerrard and Vladimir Smicer to their side for the clash with City tomorrow night, but Igor Biscan is suspended. Jim Jefferies has made it clear he wants City to try and lift themselves off the bottom of the table by collecting as many points as possible from their remaining games, while Liverpool could well move into the third qualifying place for the Champions League if they beat City at Valley Parade The Bantams beat Liverpool 1-0 at home on the final day of last season with David Wetherall's header enough to keep City in the Premiership. But they lost 1-0 at Anfield on the opening day of this season after a late strike from Emile Heskey broke City's spirited resistance to hand Gerard Houllier's side the points.
