END OF TERM REPORT CHEW Robin C+ A season affected by injury, but always a good team player...lacks a few strokes though! GREEN Matthew C- Some decent efforts in the field, but needs to work on his batting..and if he doesn't stop sulking will become known as 'stroppy knickers'. HARTLEY Michael A- Fantastic season with the ball, some good knocks with the bat, but still needs to add consistency, effective in the field and some great cathces. HYDE Steve C- By his standards had a poor season with both bat and gloves, but a good team man and I'm sure will get back to normal next year. JOHNSON Steve C- A bit of potential, but we didn't see enough of him to judge. A resonable effort in the field, and a rocket arm, made up for lack of runs. KNIGHTS Paul B- A season marred by terrible injury problems. Batting started poorly but came together towards the end of the season and looked much more like the Paulie of old. Could do with moving a bit quicker in the outfield though! KNIGHTS Steve C A good effort to play matches, but a few decent knocks proved he should be scoring more runs than he does. Bit of catching practice required. KUMAR Ajay B+ Mr Reliable..another excellent season with both bat and ball and in the field. Didn't let shin problems stop him playing. KURNYTA Paul B+ A decent season, but proved early in the season that he should be scoring even more runs than he did, a bit of technical work required. Sensational in the field. MAGGS Steve A+ What a season, breaking all batting records. A great season with the gloves as well. Another one with injury concerns. MARSH Andy A- Another great season with the ball, and as usual reliable in the field and with the bat. Catching was a bit dodgy early on though. MULHOLLAND Ian C Season ruined a bit by injury, but when available showed flashes of past glories. Lets hope for an injury free season next year. MYTTON Craig C A decent enough season with the bat, and got useful wickets at times, but showed an incredible ability to wind people up...unfortunetly his own team. PACKER Brian C A useful return after many years away. Lets see what a bit of pre-season practice does for him next year. PACKER Liam B Only a handful of games for the youngster, but proved he may make a cricketer in the future. PALMER Dave C+ Old father time keeps on ticking. He keeps chugging on year after year. Useful contributions with the bat. A great team man. PATTERSON David C- Not his best season, but always a superb spirit. PRIM Adrian B+ A fine season with bat and ball, just seems to improve every year. Just needs some work on the fielding. VAUGHAN Devin ? ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!. WILSON Angus B- The tough second season after last years heroics. Needs to add some consistency to both batting and bowling, but always the right spirit. |
