 BACKGROUND: son of former Ipswich and Leicester rider Mike Lanham whose caree was cut short by a near-fatal injury in 1983. Mike and Julie now run Hot Stuff Takeaway, a successful fish and chip shop in Reynolds Road, Ipswich.
 
 ACHIEVEMENTS:
 1996 - World U21 Finalist = 8th place
 1997 - World U21 Semi-finalist, British U21 Champion, Exeter No.1
 1998 - World U21: 1st in Quarter Finals, 5th in Semi-final and 5th in Final
 Successfully captained England at U21 level in tests against Russia, Scotland and Sweden.
 
 AMBITIONS: To achieve heat leader status in the Elite League, represent England at top level and compete in the GP Series.
