U14 2 Maleny 2 What a great come back, after being two nil down at half-time. A more determined U14 side took the field to over shadow their opponents who had dominated the first half. They almost came away with three points after A shot from Daniel Ware taken from just over the half-way line went just over the bar, in the dying moments. A cracking strike from Brendan Evans brought the boys back to 1-2, and then minutes later the Maleny keeper brought down Brendon in the penalty box and Brendon calmly stroked the ball passed him from the spot. Lion Cubs(U6) 6 Woombye 0 The Cubs played Woombye today and came away with the points (yet again)by a scoreline of 6-0. As a parent of one of the players involved,I just wanted to say what a pleasure it is to watch these young kids strut their stuff.These kids are truly a pleasure to watch. The skill level at such a young age, the commitment and pure enjoyment that these kids display is an experience to behold. Congratulations to Sasha and Alex for moulding the boys into a fine team. All the parents are extremely proud.
