Jessica Lamb lead from the gate in this first heat unchallenged by any other rider.

Steve Targett continued his good progress after recovering from a nastsy broken femur sustained last August, by winning heat 2.

1st Andre Cross, 2nd Jessica Lamb, 3rd Matthew Tutton, 4th Bill Haynes

Again, Jessica Lamb lead from the gate making up several bike lengths going round the 1st turn. Andre Cross followed in hot pursuit managing to claim first place just before his bike gave up after sputtering through the final lap.
