HEAT SUMMARY
1: Pickering, and Burrows from the gate.
2: Schlein gates. Felton goes past early on lap 2. Armstrong pressurises Schlein for second, but fails to get by.
3: Won from the gate. MacDonald just holding Smith off for third.
4: Armstrong gates well, while Morris settles in behind, holding off Thorp. Morris eventually hits the front, and Thorp then tries to pass Armstrong, but loses his chance by going wide early on lap 3.
5: Henrikkson gates, but Atkin passes him on the 2nd bend.
6: Thorp goes down on the back straight on lap 1, being a the meat in the sandwich between Pickering and Burrows. All 4 back for the re-run. Thorp is then excluded, seemingly for exceeding the 2 minutes. However, it is ruled that as he was on the way down the ramp to the start, the exclusion was for delaying the start. Thus, Thorp goes off 15 metres. The Potters duo gate, and although Thorp gets past Schlein, he always has too much to do.
7: Morris wins from the gate, holding off a determined challenge by Cunningham. Smith passes Felton on lap 2.
8: Armstrong gates, then Burrows goes past. Armstrong and Henriksson then have a ding-dong battle, with Henrikkson going past, Armstrong then regaining it, and just holding on to the line.
9: Thorp and Cunningham win easily from the gate.
10: Smith falls on the 3rd bend, and is excluded. In the re-run, the Potters win it from the gate, Burrows holding off Cunningham despite a mid-race wheelie.
11: Schlein gates, and holds the lead until Morris passes him on lap 2.
12: At the first start, Thorp is left. Second time, Thorp jumps the start. At the 3rd attempt, Thorp makes a clean gate. Cunningham passes Atkin at the end of lap 1. Atkin retires on lap 3.
13: Won from the gate. Processional.
14: Again, won from the gate, with MacDonald just holding off a determined challenge by Smith.
15: A cracker. Pickering just outgates Cunningham. Cunningham passes Pickering, only for Pickering to re-take him. Cunningham tries desperately to get by again, but Pickering just holds him off, and wins narrowly.

MATCH SUMMARY
Another good home win for the Potters. Solid performances from Pickering, and the guesting Phil Morris. Burrows looked far more comfortable in the number 2 jacket, and MacDonald chips in with a race win. Atkin was the one disappointment tonight.
As for the Wasps. Cunningham was competitive all night, and along with Thorp, saved them from an even heavier defeat. Both Henriksson and Neath were out of sorts. Schlein, though, at reserve, looks a youngster of some promise for the future.
