This result was followed by a 3 – 0 away win over Little Paxton with a brace of goals from Charles McInnes and one from Josh Styles. Under 11b’s No Game Under 12a’s Godmanchester Rovers Youth (0) vs Cambridge Musketeers (3) Result Only Under 12b’s Godmanchester Rovers Youth (2) vs Chesterton Eagles (4) A goal a piece by Robert Chittenden and Joshua Godfrey was not enough for Goddy. Under 13a’s No Game Under 13b’s No Game Under 14a’s Ende Dynamo (3) vs Godmanchester Rovers Youth (1) A rare defeat for title chasing Goddy, with one goal by Jason Munton. Godmanchester Rovers Youth (2) vs Lakenheath (1) A good win for Goddy, with their second game in as many days. Matthew Silsby (1) and Stephen Hurst (1). Under 14b’s No Game Under 15’s Godmanchester Rovers Youth (2) vs Cambridge Magpies (13) Ten man Godmanchester struggled to overcome a full strength Magpies. James Pace and Mark Browne replying for Goddy. Under 16’s Priory Parkside (1) vs Godmanchester Rovers Youth (5) Knock Out Cup – Fourth Round A hatrick by Ryan Franklin and one a piece by Darius McDonald and Luke Paffett saw Goddy through to the next round of the KO Cup. Under 18’s Godmanchester Rovers (1) vs Blackstones (0) Blackstones must have thought there points were in the bag as the top League side met second from bottom, but Goddy put up a good fight coming through with a first half goal by Luke Paffett. Under 11 Girls No Game Under 12 Girls No Game Under 14 Girls – Eagles Godmanchester Eagles (8) vs Godmanchester Falcons (0) This was a game that the management and players would have preferred not to have played. In essence a home derby of a different kind. Eagles were without Captain – Emma Rushmer and Perri Kean but showed there form scoring 4 goals in each half of the game. Catherine Thompson (2), Charlotte McIver (2), Harriette Vickery (3) and Marie Lumley (1). Goddy earned a place in the Finals last week to face their closest opponents Cambridge United at Histon Football Club on Friday 11th May 2001. Team: Catrina Courtman, Rosie Wilson, Harriette Vickery, Marie Lumley, Catherine Thompson, Claire Douglas, Caroline Lemons and Charlotte McIver. Under 14 Girls – Falcons Godmanchester Eagles (8) vs Godmanchester Falcons (0) With one player missing – Lauren Catt. Godmanchester Falcons were unable to rotate and rest players. Despite the score line which flattered Eagles ever so slightly - Falcons demonstrated some good football with some good movement both on and off the ball. Most of the goals came from set pieces. Team: Lori-ane White, Maria Perrin, Ruth Martin, Anna Martin, Sarah Storey, Sarah Morris and Lisa Payne. Spaces are available for Under 13’s and Under 14’s. Goddy have spaces for Girls teams in the following age Groups - Under11, Under 12 and Under 14.
