WESTEND LOOKING FOR A NEW GOALKEEPERDARREN NAPIER Monday, May 07, 2001 16:48 GMT
It has been confirmed today that Westends goalkeeper Rob Webb has not been attending training for several weeks now and has announced to Jason Legge that it looks doubtful that he will attend any future training sessions.
"This is abit of a set back for us, but due to the increasing interest in our club now we are confident that we can find a replacement for him and we have already starting talks with someone now. We hope that Rob can join us later on whether as number 2 goalkeeper or play as a defender, but that is upto him. We at Westend would like to thank Rob for his support and wish him luck in the future!" Darren Napier commented today.
