SSS Iford Football Club Home PageWelcome to the SSS Iford Football Club Web SiteWe currently play in the Bournemouth Sunday League - Division 4. To provide a brief history of the club, we started life under the name of Nat West, starting off in Division 12 of the Bournemouth League in 1989. We managed to gain promotion to Div 11, and then won division 10. We then changed the club name to Cranleigh (and were sponsored by the pub for a time) - we progressed through div 9 and the BFA then jumped us into division 7. We changed our name in 1996 to SSS Iford (the SSS standing for Super Sunday Session...use your imagination to understand how that name was derived - more details can be found on the 'History Behind The Name page'). The club progressed, winning division 6 and then a league restructure placed us in Div 4. The team is made up of young and old, and we have an excellent team spirit and always aim to enjoy our football...after all..that is what Sunday Football is all about...isnt it!
