Season 2001/2002 Squad

Newton Orient FC were formed in 1997 by Graham Cox and Andy Eggbeer. Having played Sunday football with various teams, they decided to form their own side, a nucleas of players which have played with them over the years joined them and helped to  establish the side. Ten of the players who played during that first season are still actively involved with  the Orient. The decision to join a league was not a difficult one, Having confirmed their status as one of the best sunday sides around, they turned their head to some friendlies against league sides with much success, it was felt a new challenge was needed. So for the season 2001/2002 they have entered the Torbay Combination League where they will battle against different opposition. Hopefully with the same level of success.
