WEST WANDERERS UNITED SOCCER & SPORTING CLUB INC. Home Page
West Wanderers Eagles has both junior and senior teams playing soccer in the Toowoomba and surrounding districts competitions. West Wanderers are affliated with the TJSA, TDSF and with the state controlling body, the QSF. The Club was formed in 1953 and since 1988 has been playing at our current venue, Nell E. Robinson Park, Hume St, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. New field lighting towers were installed in late 2000 for both competition and training standards and were ready for the 2001 season.
The Club's main objective is to promote and foster the game of Association Football in all its aspects and in particular to establish, develop, organise, maintain and control teams of the highest standard to represent the Club in the foremost of Association Football leagues and competitions in a professional standard.
SEASON 2002 UPDATE
SENIORS is now well into it's competition with both Mens teams doing well - only 1 loss between them so far. On Sunday the 12th May these two teams will play each other with the winning team taking over 2nd place on the TDSF table. The game starts at 3pm at Nell E Robinson. The Colts play Warwick this week and will be looking for a win. Same with the Ladies. All other enquiries please contact Kerry Hohn on 4630 1236.
JUNIORS have now been playing for several weeks with most teams enjoying success on the field. Home games this weekend (11th of May).
