Godmanchester Rovers Youth (4) vs St. Neots A (0)
Goddy got off to a quick start with Adam Dent scoring a brace in the first ten minutes. Score remained Two : Nil at half time. Second half playing some good one touch football but not quite finding the onion bag until ten minutes before when Oliver Westcott-Rudd got his 20th goal of the season to wrap in all up Alistair Lambert solo run and finish wrapped another win for Goddy. Great team performance from all the boys.

Priory Parkside B (1) vs Godmanchester Rovers Youth (1)
Priory have been unbeaten this season, and their worst result had been against this team at their last meeting when Goddy did well to loose 5 – 1. So not surprisingly a confident Priory came out to repeat their earlier success. Goddy battled well and took the lead inside ten minutes with a Jamie Young goal. Goddy held the lead until 5 minutes from the end of the game and played some good football, but the achievement is how close the gap is now since their last meeting and the only team to take points off of Priory, who are undoubtedly one of the best teams in the League.

Raunds Tigers (1) vs Godmanchester Rovers Youth (2)
Cup – Semi-Final
With two key players out of the squad with previous engagements, Godmanchester would have preferred to not have played Raunds knowing how strong their opponents were at their last meeting. Charlotte McIver just back from long-term injury, would start as substitute. So without Goalkeeper Catrina Courtman and Caroline Lemons, who rarely miss a game, Goddy travelled to Raunds. Winning the toss Goddy elected to kick down hill (Important as this was the steepest gradient that the players had ever played on). Both teams started strong but Goddy started to dominate the play and were more clinical in their passing, but Raunds are not a side to let a team have their own way, coming close a couple of times and a shot hitting the bar. Introducing Charlotte McIver Goddy found the pace to go ahead with a goal by Catherine Thompson taking the score to 1 – 0 at half time. The team resumed and expected an onslaught from Raunds who by now had the hill as their advantage, but once again some very stout defending by Rosie Wilson, Claire Douglas and Harriette Vickery kept Raunds at bay. At the other end though the speed of Marie Lumley, the skill of Catherine Thompson and the agility and accuracy of Charlotte McIver saw Catherine Thompson score her second to give a
2 – 0 buffer. Pushing like mad to get a real safety margin Goddy became slack in defence and Raunds found a way in, causing confusion and a silly goal. Captain and substitute Goalkeeper - Emma Rushmer could not have stopped this but she saved many attempts by Raunds on goal and used her area well. Goddy battled to earn their place in the Finals against their closest opponents Cambridge United at Histon Football Club on Friday 11th May 2001.

Team: Emma Rushmer, Rosie Wilson, , Perri Kean, Harriette Vickery, , Marie Lumley, Catherine Thompson, Claire Douglas and
Charlotte McIver.

Under 14 Girls – Falcons
Godmanchester Rovers Youth (4) vs Cottenham Juniors (2)
Last week when the two teams met Godmanchester carved out a good win and were deserving of the points. So Cottenham came to seek revenge and opened up a 1 – 0 lead early in the game. Goddy responded with a goal by Sarah Storey and another by Sarah Morris to give Goddy a 2 – 1 lead. Cottenham worked hard and netted an equaliser before half-time. Sarah Morris continued her prolific scoring rate with another 2 goals in the second half to give Godmanchester another win over Cottenham. Man of the Match was Anna Martin (Captain)

Team: Lori-ane White, Maria Perrin, Ruth Martin, Lauren Catt,
Anna Martin, Sarah Storey, Sarah Morris and Lisa Payne.
