This was a great end-to-end game even to the final whistle both teams battled. Goddy edged it in the first half with a great goal by Oliver Westcott-Rudd. Holding on to the advantage Godmanchester survived a spirited attack by Little Paxton to win. All players playing well.

Under 14 Girls – Eagles
Godmanchester Rovers Youth (2) vs Cherry Hinton Crusaders (1)
This was a six pointer a Cherry needed to win to become assured of 4th or 3rd, whilst Godmanchester required the points to keep on target for runners-up spot. Starting brightly they scored two goals through Harriette Vickery to take a 2 – 0 half-time lead. Cherries threw everything at the Godmanchester defence to try to come back but apart from one small hic-up Goddy defended well to the end.
Team: Catrina Courtman, Rosie Wilson, Emma Rushmer, Perri Kean, Harriette Vickery, Caroline Lemons, Marie Lumley, Catherine Thompson, and Claire Douglas.
Under 14 Girls – Falcons
Cottenham Juniors (1) vs Godmanchester Rovers Youth (5)
After losing to Cottenham narrowly in the last few minutes of the Cup, Godmanchester had a point to prove with a convincing win at Cottenham. Sarah Morris was on target again scoring 4 goals, whilst Sarah Storey completed the victory with a cheeky chip over the Cottenham keepers head from 20 yards out. Player of the Match was Maria Perrin
Team: Lori-ane White, Maria Perrin, Ruth Martin, Lauren Catt,
Anna Martin, Sarah Storey, Sarah Morris and Lisa Payne.
Under 14 Girls – Falcons
Godmanchester Rovers Youth (2) vs Burwell Swallows (3)
Leading 2 – 0 at half-time, Burwell must have thought it was all over and when Godmanchester let in a third soon after play resumed in the second half it did all seem too much that the points were in the bag. Godmanchester hit back with 2 goals by Sarah Morris and fought to the very end for a point, coming close on several occasions. This would have helped Eagles who contest second place position with Burwell. All things considered the Falcons have improved immensely because they lost to Burwell not so long ago 9 – 3. The Gap closes. Player of the Match was Lori-ane White.
Team: Lori-ane White, Maria Perrin, Ruth Martin, Lauren Catt,
