Same Scoreline, Same Old Story

Under 16 League A  Result  Saturday 7th April 2001

Middlefield Wasps  1-0  King Street SC

It was the same old story again for these two evenly matched teams at a very cold Aulton last saturday.

Middlefield again won by the odd goal as King Street put in a performance which Manager John Sim described as "magnificient" and "their best all season"

He then added that " if the team continues to perform in such an impressive manner and manages to stay together then a successful step up to the 18's section may be in the offing"

Despite the defeat King Street can go into  their midweek matches against Westhill and Albion respectively with confidence as the season draws to a close.
