Interpon Bensham Arms FC's new manager Andy Humphrey (pictured) is hoping for a good run to the end of the season. Having taking over the reigns after Kevin McGill's sudden departure, Andy's team are faced with 4 away games to finish the season off.
First up on Saturday are New York North Tyneside Supplies in the game that was called off last month. Hopefully now the pitch will have dried up for the game to go ahead. Interpon will then travel to Wincomblee, again a rearranged game due to the weather, hoping to repeat the victory gained there in the Billy Burton Cup.
That is followed by West Moor, against whom we need a victory as they knocked us out of both cups and also stuffed us at home in the league. Finally, the season ends on Wednesday 9th May with a game at Edgefield Lodge as long as we can get a team out, where we could achieve another double to finish on a high note.
We are currently sitting 4th from bottom, but a good run could see us finish 5th or 6th in the table.
