TOM BROWN UPDATEBrian White Wednesday, August 14, 2002 10:52 GMT Tom is currently being kept in Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) with three damaged vertebrae. Overnight opinion was that one vertebra was giving them a little cause for concern because it has some crush damage rather than break damage. The orthopedic surgeon was due to see him Thursday morning and a decision will be taken then on whether an operation will be necessary or whether they will decide on natural healing. They thought he would be in Treliske for three to four weeks, he is in Wheal Jane ward visiting is 1430 to 2000. His bike is a total right off, even the sump was damaged and its not his engine!!!! He cheered up a lot when the overnight man told him he didn't see any reason why he shouldn't be back in the saddle March or April 2003. |
