1st XI Left to Concentrate on League (and Plate)Philip Middleton Sunday, December 16, 2001 15:02 GMTOn Sunday Mids lost 5-2 in the Sussex Cup to Brighton. Going in at the break 2-0 down Mids replied after the restart through an Andy Green short corner. But their hopes of a comback were short lived as Mids were twice hit on the break. Green scored again from the penalty spot after James Goodwin was upended by the Brighton keeper, but it was too late for Mids. |
