Friendly game in Woodstock - June 22nd

Civics played a friendly game vs. Woodstock C.C. on Saturday June 22nd, 2002.  Civics lost the toss and were asked to take the field first.  Woodstock could only muster 62 runs with Mark Sawh opening the bowling and taking 4 wickets in 4 overs!  Civics managed to squeak out the victory with 2 wickets to spare!  Navin Nauth top-scored for Civics with 19.  All in all, everyone had a good time!  After the game, we presented Woodstock with a plaque to thank them for their gracious hospitality.  We are planning to host them some time this season when both clubs are available to play.
