TRANSFER COLLAPSE

Mick Panthers long awaited transfer to F.C. Moose collapsed today when Panther failed a medical.
Panthers left knee gave way during a rigourous medical examination at F.C. Moose's training complex Windy Whitley Common.
Mick's £4 a week 5 year contract has now been put on hold until Panther has operation to cure the problem.
Dr Hanibal Lecter who will be performing this pioneering operation said "This procedure that I will be performing requires me to remove damaged cartalige and muscle from around the knee which will be lightly fried in a butterscotch sauce with chives and chopped shallots until golden brown then served on bed of crispy cabbage leaves and petit pois"
Asked if Panther will ever play football again Dr. Lecter said "Yes theirs a good probabilty he will come back a better player, not that he was much cop anyway"
