Strong side see BBC offTom Harper Tuesday, January 29, 2002 16:17 GMT
Ealing win 5-0. In the return against BBC.
There was little drama in the 5-0 win against the BBC.
Having lost away from home with a weak side. We turned out a potent mixture
of experience, court craft, youth and Northern grit (TD Carts).
To the games.....The Dinner Lady casseroled up his oppo as fast a microwave
meal. Didn't drop many points and then left. I wanted to eat his dinner but
as he had paid his match fee I was restricted.
TD Carts played crap for the first two then fought back and dicked the
south african fello. 3-2 win. If you remember the home game. The oppo was
a little troublesome at his home venue against Phil Odlum. (Well I suppose
we all feel like that with Phil :-)) So sweet revenge.
Brendan the machine again drank more beers than points dropped.
Jayesh looked sluggish, too many home cooked meals and city lunchs. But showed spirit
to win.
Cock sure Nick Robinson won easily. He asked for a movement up the side
this week on the basis of fabled yorkshire league performances. I think we will
keep him at 5 for the moment........
Richard 'old women' Stanwix cheffing skills were monitored. The team are concerned he is more bothered
with club gossip than serving up the Cottage Pie.
