Darlo RA Ladies first team suffered a shock defeat today at the hands of lowly South Durham Royals. Darlo never got into gear following the early dissmissal of influential midfield player Ali White within five minures of the game kicking off. Darlo found themselves 4 - 0 down at half time due to some good finnishing and tight offside decisions. In the second half Darlo played the better football but missed a number of good chances Kim Hayes pulled a goal back for Darlo but it was to little to late. The superb Tina Brown, who was one of a handfull of players who could take any credit form this game was unfortunate enough to concede an own goal late on. I supose that sums up the game really.
