Ref No Show results to 11-a-side friendly match

.  Friday, June 29, 2001  10:03 GMT

Last night the Elms league fixtures was postponed a week due to Elms referees unattending on the night. Instead squad members from Exoterix/FOK/Sweet FA layed down the gauntlet to Streatham NE and Dinamo Barpitch to an 11-a-side friendly.

Result:

Exoterix / Sweet FA / Folk of Kent 8

Streatham NE / Dinamo Barpitch 3 or 2

4 of Exoterix (Docherty, Marshall, Wisby, Rivaldo Crawford)
4 of Folk of Kent
3 of Sweet FA

A great fun night it turned out, full of energy was shown on the night by both teams.
Good signs of fitness was shown amongst the Terrors where injury prone Docherty showed great glimpses of his old self playing on the left of defence. Crawford showed his acrobat agility on the night, and his ball boy skills by jumping over the fence to retrieve the ball everytime it sailed over by his efforts on goal. A great performance by Never Say Die Marshall was involved in the wars in defence, having a smoke during the game proved he was enjoying himself. Zickler Wisby back for the Terrors was amongst the goals netting a few, playing as one of the team's 3 strikers.
In the sweltering heat the game was enjoyed by all players and a big thanks goes out to the opposition who participated. (Cheers Stu, Ian, Gizah, Andy, Oscar etc.)

The 11-a-side game for Exoterix / FOK V Effra Academicals will be hopefully scheduled for August 2nd at Crystal Palace (evening KO).

Terror's captain Warren Crawford and manager Dean Docherty will be also playing their 5th games for Effra against Dolphin Riders in the next month. They will once again wear the red & blue in a one off friendly and also participate in the Palace one-day knockout tournament for the Accies.

Docherty & Davies are absent due to holidays for the rest of the Elm's season and will return for next's in October.
Rest of the season is in Crawford's hands now as he will hopefully guide Exoterix (currently 6th) back into the top 5 in the league where the Terror's belong. A finish of 4th would be a fine effort for a debut season.

Come on Terror's !
