Lawrence to play for Jamaica

Adam Bell  Thursday, April 26, 2001  09:14 GMT

Jamie in for Jamaica?
Jamie Lawrence is expected to play for Jamaica in their World Cup qualifier today against Honduras in Kingston.
He is likely to be in the starting line-up, despite the fact he has played just one reserve game since returning back from the Caribbean last month with a broken bone in his hand, sustained whilst previously with the Reggae Boyz.
They desperately need to win as they are currently fourth in their CONCACAF group, behind the USA, Costa Rica and Mexico. Only the top three countries will go forward to the World Cup Finals.
