Final coming up for youth team

Adam Bell  Friday, April 20, 2001  13:43 GMT

Youths in cup final action City's youth players face Leyton Orient at The Millennium Stadium on Sunday in the final of the Football League Youth Alliance League Cup.
It will be played following the LDV Vans Trophy final on Sunday, and is scheduled for a 6.15pm kick off, although that could be pushed back a bit if the main event, between Port Vale and Brentford, goes to extra-time and a long penalty shoot-out.
The teenagers will be treated to the full cup final experience, travelling down to Bristol on Saturday evening on the first team coach, before having a light training session on Sunday morning, followed by the game.
A number of the club's Associate Schoolboys are in the squad of 17 which also includes the likes of Scott Kerr, Jon Worsnop, Ben Jones and Lewis Emanuel, all of whom have been on the bench recently in the Premiership.
