Unchanged team for Derby match

Adam Bell  Friday, April 20, 2001  12:53 GMT

Jim Jefferies will name an unchanged line-up, as long as Eoin Jess has recovered from a knock in training for tomorrow's clash with Derby.
Jefferies is likely to pick the same eleven who were on duty at Spurs and against Charlton as long as Jess has fully recovered from a training ground injury.
Meanwhile, Jamie Lawrence is expected to be on the bench after successfully coming through the reserves in midweek after nearly three months out with a broken hand.
City have got to the stage of the season where their seemingly inevitable relegation could be confirmed this weekend, if they fail to beat Derby.
If they don't win, and Middlesbrough win at Leicester, the faintest of mathematical hopes will have totally disappeared.
Given the fact City have only won four games all season, it is perhaps surprising they have got this far with still dreams of a Lazarus like recovery, as they have games against Derby, Everton and Middlesbrough to come.
City have picked up dramatically of late, with just one defeat in their last four games,
He said: "It would be interesting if we had another half a dozen games plus those we've actually got left. Avoiding finishing bottom is a big target, and I've been very pleased with the players recently.
"There's a good spirit amongst them, and training has been enjoyable. The way things are going at the moment encourages me greatly for whatever division we're in next season."

Likely starting line up: Walsh, Halle, Molenaar, Myers, Jacobs, Jess, McCall, Whalley, Blake, Carbone, Ward
